    Under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (‘National Law’) health practitioners must maintain satisfactory standards of performance in the practise of their profession. The Medical Board of Australia (‘the Board’) may require a doctor to undergo a performance assessment if they reasonably believe the practitioner’s performance is unsatisfactory.
