Avant SA, TAS and WA Practitioner and Practice Join Promotion 2026 Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions (the Terms), as updated from time to time, govern the Avant South Australia (SA), Tasmania (TAS) and Western Australia (WA) Practitioner and Practice join promotion (the Promotion). The promoter of this Promotion is Avant Insurance Limited ACN ABN 82 003 707 471 (Avant). Participation in the Promotion is subject to these Terms.

Overview of the promotion

1. The Promotion is a promotional activity by which: a. Eligible Practitioners who purchase an Avant Practitioner Indemnity Insurance Product policy can receive a discount on the policy equalling 15% off the first year premium of the policy (Practitioner Promotion Benefit); and b. Eligible Practices who purchase an Avant Practice Indemnity Insurance Product policy can receive a discount on the policy equalling 25% off the first year premium of the policy (Practice Promotion Benefit), (together, the Promotion Benefits) in accordance with these Terms.

Promotion period

2. The Promotion runs from 9:00am AEST, 1 April 2026 to 5:00pm AEDT, 30 September 2026 AEST (the Promotion Period).

Eligibility criteria

3. The Promotion is only available to:
a. General Practitioners (Eligible Practitioner):
i. whose main state of practice is listed in their policy schedule as SA, TAS or WA;
ii. that have had no claims in the last 5 years;
ii. that have no conditions or undertakings on their Ahpra registration; and
iv. that have not performed any cosmetic procedures in the previous five year period.

b. General Practice Medical Practices (Eligible Practice) that:
i. are located in SA, TAS or WA;
ii. do not perform any cosmetic procedures i.e. no simple cosmetics such as Botox and fillers;
iii. Have an appointment only business model i.e. no walk-in;
iv. employ a full-time practice manager with more than 2 years of experience in management;
v. have a doctor owner or director of the practice; and
vi. are not deemed ineligible in accordance with clause 4 below.

4. Directors, management and employees of Avant and its associated entities, and immediate family members of each of these persons, or practices owned or managed by any of these persons, are ineligible to enter this Promotion.

Participation criteria

5. To participate in the Promotion, during the Promotion Period:
a. Eligible Practitioners must apply and be accepted for an Avant Practitioner Indemnity Insurance Policy; or
b. Eligible Practices must apply and be accepted for an Avant Practice Medical Indemnity Insurance Policy, (together, the Qualifying Entrant).

Promotion benefit

6. Each Qualifying Entrant will receive:
a. in the case of an Eligible Practitioner, the Practitioner Promotion Benefit; and
b. in the case of an Eligible Practice, the Practice Promotion Benefit.

7. The Promotion Benefit will be applied to the Qualifying Entrant's premium once their application has been received and eligibility confirmed, but prior to purchase.

Other conditions

8. This offer excludes all other promotional offers;

9. Avant reserves the right to change the offer conditions or end the offer at any time without notice.

10. The Practitioner Indemnity Insurance Product and Practice Indemnity Insurance Product are issued by Avant Insurance Limited ACN 003 707 471, AFSL 238765 (Avant Insurance). Cover is subject to the full terms, conditions, definitions, exclusions and limits of the policy. Please read the relevant Product Disclosure Statement or policy wording, available at www.avant.org.au before deciding whether to acquire or continue to hold the product. Offer of insurance is subject to underwriting approval.

11. Avant Practice Medical Indemnity Insurance is issued by Avant Insurance. The policy wording is available at www.avant.org.au or by contacting us on 1800 128 268. Practices need to consider other forms of insurance including directors' and officers' liability, public and products liability, property and business interruption insurance, and workers compensation.

12. Personal information collected through this Promotion will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this Promotion. This may require disclosure to third parties, including local regulatory authorities and the Promoter's agents or third party service providers, for the purpose of conducting the Promotion, or for promotional and marketing purposes (including for direct marketing). This may include disclosing information to overseas entities which are not accountable under Australian privacy laws (Purpose).

13. By entering this Promotion, Eligible Practitioner and Eligible Practice consent to the use of their personal information for the Purpose, and that Avant may contact them for future marketing and material purposes without payment. Eligible Practitioner and Eligible Practice agree that Avant may use this information for that purpose.

14. Eligible Practitioner and Eligible Practice may access, change or update their personal information by emailing Avant on privacy@avant.org.au or by telephone at 1800 128 268 during office hours. A copy of Avant's privacy policy is available at avant.org.au. The privacy policy contains information about how individuals may access or correct personal information or make a privacy related complaint.
