David is a Neurologist, and founder of Avant Practice Solutions practice services division. An Avant member since 1995 he developed his interest in medical practice management while establishing his own, multi site specialist practice in Melbourne. With a knack for solving problems for doctors in private practice, David has spearheaded the Avant Practice Solutions business, taking Virtual Reception Services, VoiceBox Intelligent Transcription, the Billings+ Platform and offsite Practice Management to doctors' practices throughout Australia. He continues to practice as a neurologist and contribute academically as Clinical Adjunct Associate Professor of Neuroscience at Monash University.

James has been working in the medical field across medical software, clinical data, medical devices, vaccines, and pharmaceuticals. Most recently James has been working with software vendors across primary care, specialist medical practices, aged care facilities and hospitals.
This experience has included helping practices implement electronic medical records, secure messaging, electronic referrals, quality improvement systems and electronic prescribing. With over 30 years of extensive experience in the financial sector, Michelle has a honed a diverse skill set that encompasses both traditional banking and specialized bookkeeping services. Having worked in the banking Industry previously, she has spent near on four decades mastering the intricacies of financial management and client relations.
Transitioning into the realm of bookkeeping, upon leaving the Bank, she joined Avant (former employee of Hoxton MPM ), where dedication and expertise has defined a remarkable journey spanning 5 & ½ years currently. Gaining her qualifications as a Professional Bookkeeper, taking on the Managing role of the Bookkeeping & Payroll team (of which are now a team of six) then 12 months ago registering as a BAS Agent. Her and the team bring meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of financial regulations.
Specializing in medical bookkeeping, Michelle possess a wealth of knowledge crucial to the unique challenges of the healthcare industry.
