Communication in clinical practice covered situations where you may have to adapt your communication style to suit your patient’s needs. How do you communicate with children and young people, patients from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, patients who have a cognitive impairment, and patients from culturally and linguistically diverse communities? Think of a consultation with a patient from one of these groups and describe how you modified your interaction with them as a result of something you learnt or rediscovered in this course.
