
Meet the team: Brittany Egan, Remote Practice Support Senior Manager
Brittany Egan is the Remote Practice Support Senior Manager at Avant Practice Solutions. She trains and coordinates two remote reception teams to ensure her clients’ needs are being met.
Brittany has been with the team since 2020. She started as a remote receptionist during the height of the pandemic and progressed through the ranks to assistant manager and then to her current role as the manager of the Remote Practice Support team.
She is delighted when her clients recognise the responsiveness of her team. There is always someone available to support them within standard practice hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm), and they don’t have to worry about receptionists taking personal leave or holidays.
The aspects Brittany loves the most about her work are problem-solving and liaising with clients to help advance their practice. She is aware that it requires a great deal of trust for practices to allow her team to be involved in their business and patient care, so she takes care building client relationships.
The values that drive Brittany are trust, compassion and loyalty. She prides herself on being a fair, approachable and understanding manager to her team.
When Brittany is not working, you can find her with her family – her husband, their daughter, Addie, and their pets (a dog and two cats). Her weekends and spare time are spent travelling, camping and doing water sports in the summer, and spending time with close friends and family.
Fun fact: Brittany used to be a pastry chef and baker, and still bakes at her leisure!
