Meet Emily Swan, our experienced practice advisor who brings a thoughtful, whole-of-practice perspective to the Avant Business Solutions team.
Emily has been with Avant Business Solutions since July 2023 and the depth of experience she brings to her clients is evident in everything she does. Before joining the team, Emily built a strong foundation in practice management, working across a multi-disciplinary specialist clinic, a lung function lab and a geriatrician specialist practice, giving her a rare breadth of knowledge across different healthcare settings.
Along the way, she has had the privilege of working alongside some truly remarkable practitioners, an experience she counts amongst the highlights of her career.
Emily's approach to client work is both personal and holistic. She understands that no two practices are the same, so she takes the time to look at each one from every angle. It’s important to her to examine the systems, processes and people within a practice, how they are interconnected and how, ultimately, they shape the patient journey. It's a thoughtful approach that her clients feel from the very first conversation.
Outside of work, Emily is all about the good things in life - quality time with family and friends, travelling, and seeking out great food along the way.
Fun fact: Emily and her family run a YouTube accommodation channel, keeping things creative and exciting beyond the nine to five!
